VSUN signs a Commitment not to use Conflict Minerals

VSUN understands that production activities and the products it provides may have an impact on society and the environment. As part of its corporate social responsibility, VSUN hereby pledges that 

1. no metal used or contained in any product or component delivered by VSUN is derived from "conflict minerals" from the Congo, its neighboring countries and any armed forces-controlled areas within those countries.

2. we will fill in the survey and provide other information about "conflict minerals" as requested, and commit to the truthfulness, accuracy and completeness of the information provided.

3. We commit to establish a complete conflict minerals policy, management system and survey framework that is consistent with relevant laws and regulations (including but not limited to Section 1502 of the U.S. Dodd-Frank Act) and guidelines published by relevant agencies (such as OECD or CFSR), and to hold our suppliers to the same standards.

4. The Company shall require suppliers to supply materials that do not use conflict minerals, and shall conduct "conflict minerals" surveys of suppliers to ensure the authenticity of the non-use of conflict minerals.

5. Our company and each supplier must sign the "commitment of not using conflict minerals", and supervise the implementation.

 

Note 1: DRC and its neighboring countries include: (a) Democratic Republic of Congo, Republic of Congo, Republic of Sudan, Republic of South Sudan, Republic of Uganda, Republic of Rwanda, Republic of Burundi, United Republic of Tanzania, Republic of Zambia, Republic of Angola, Central African Republic; (b) new countries (regions) and existing countries (regions) that will include some or all of the areas of the aforesaid countries. areas). 

Note 2: "Conflict Minerals" includes, but is not limited to, rare metals such as cassiterite, wolfram, coltan and gold and its derivatives, particularly raw gold (Au), tantalum (Ta), tin (Su) and tungsten (W) metals from the DRC and its neighboring countries, as well as from any armed forces-controlled areas within those countries. "Metals used or contained do not come from the DRC and its neighboring countries and any FARDC-controlled areas within those countries" includes metals whose extraction, smelting, molding and other manufacturing processes do not take place in the DRC and its neighboring countries and any FARDC-controlled areas within those countries.
